The Bankers Association of Trinidad & Tobago (BATT) wishes to reassure its customers, as it continues to monitor and assess the current environment and assist in mitigating the spread of COVID-19, that all measures are being taken to safeguard the interests and well-being of our staff, customers and all stakeholders.
Enhanced sanitisation protocols have already been implemented on our premises, for the safeguard of both our staff and our customers. We remind our customers that our Online platforms and ATMs remain operational and available to handle most of your needs.
In an effort to minimize disruption of services to our customers, while ensuring the safety and well-being of our staff and stakeholders, the banks will be implementing the following service changes which will include the following:
• Reduction in the operation of some branches
• Adjustment in the closing and opening hours
These measures will be implemented effective this week until further notice. Customers can visit their banks’ website for further details with respect to closure of branches and opening and closing hours.
The safety of our customers, staff and broader community remains our absolute priority and we are confident in our ability to continue to deliver, through these changes, the service our customers expect and deserve.
As our country navigates these unprecedented times, it is vital that we recognize and adhere to social distancing guidelines by the government and health authorities as an invaluable precaution. BATT remains committed to these guidelines, and in proactively responding to this evolving situation, to ensure that the banking needs of our customers are safely and efficiently met during this challenging time.
