Revised Code of Banking Practice Launched

The Bankers Association of Trinidad and Tobago has launched its revised Code of Banking Practice – a document which intends to improve relationship between the banking sector and its customers.

BATT President Anya Schnoor says the updated policy measures will better serve the present financial and economic climate, and foster greater consumer confidence in the sector.

BATT Still Awaiting Answers On Banking Tax

It’s now four weeks since the Finance Minister’s 2017/2018 Budget Presentation, and the President of the Bankers Association of Trinidad and Tobago says she’s still unclear as to how the Minister’s tax increase on the commercial banking sector will be implemented, or what was his justification for doing so.
