Anya M. Schnoor has over 24 years experience in investments and banking. She was appointed Managing Director of Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Limited on November 1, 2012 and to the Board of Directors on May 31, 2012. She previously held several senior roles in Scotiabank Jamaica.
Ms. Schnoor holds a Master of Business Administration from Barry University and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and International Business from Florida International University.
Ms. Schnoor serves as a Director of all of the Bank’s subsidiary companies – ScotiaLife Trinidad and Tobago Limited (Chairperson), Scotia Investments Trinidad and Tobago Limited (Chairperson) and Scotia SKN Limited. She is also a Director of the Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Foundation, United Way Trinidad and Tobago and the Vice President of the Bankers’ Association of Trinidad and Tobago.
In May 2016, her portfolio was expanded to include Scotiabank’s South and East Caribbean operations, providing oversight to the Country Heads of Guyana, Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean, Curacao and Trinidad and Tobago.
